Mission Retreat

The purpose of the 2025 Mission Retreat is to inspire our high school Seniors and older young adults to serve missions. Many youth may feel that serving a mission is overwhelming or even impossible due to personal challenges, preparation, or uncertainty. Through the retreat, they will learn that a mission is not only POSSIBLE but will be a rewarding experience.

By providing a structured, faith-filled experience, the objective is to help our youth:

Gain a clear vision of missionary service including daily schedules and spiritual opportunities.
Strengthen their testimonies of Jesus Christ and understand how to prepare now.
Build confidence in their ability to serve and represent Jesus Christ as missionaries.

2025 Theme: "Mission POSSIBLE – With God, All Things Are Possible"
Inspired by the "Mission Impossible" movies, this Mission Retreat will creatively emphasize that while missionary service may seem challenging or out of reach, with a desire to serve, it is POSSIBLE through Christ.

Supporting Scripture: Matthew 19:26 – "With God, all things are possible."

Activities:
1. Tour the Missionary Center (MTC) in Provo, Utah
2. Understand how to prepare for a mission from MTC Teachers
3. Get real answers from Returned Missionaries
4. Learn from President Bowen, "With God, all things are possible"

Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

MEETING PLACE:

Arrive at the Herriman Butterfield Stake Center (south side) at 10:00 a.m.

ITINERARY:

10:00 AM Meet at the Butterfield Canyon Stake Center (south parking lot)
10:15 AM Depart for the Nu Skin Pavilion in Provo

11:00 AM Visit the Provo City Center Temple grounds with Returned Missionaries

12:00 PM Lunch at the Nu Skin Campus with Returned Missionaries

• A Day in the Life of a Missionary
Daily schedules, teaching, and service opportunities.

• Preparing Spiritually for a Mission
